Do I need a solicitor to make a Will valid?
No. A Will is valid in England and Wales if it is in writing, signed by you, and witnessed by two people who are present at the same time and are not beneficiaries. We guide you through this so it is done correctly.
What happens if I die without a Will?
Your estate is distributed under the rules of intestacy, a fixed legal order of who inherits. This may not reflect your actual wishes, and unmarried partners are not automatically included.
Can I change my Will later?
Yes. You should review your Will after major life events, such as marriage, divorce, having children or buying property. Marriage automatically revokes an earlier Will unless it was made in contemplation of that marriage.
What is a Mirror Will?
